"Do you know what a mandala is?"
"Um, those are those round Buddhist art things."
“The Tibetan monks make them out of dyed sand laid out into big beautiful designs. And when they’re done, after days and weeks of work, they wipe it all away.”
"Wow, that’s, that’s a lot."
"Try to look at your experience here as a mandala, Chapman. Work hard to make something as meaningful and beautiful as you can. And when you’re done, pack it in and know it was all temporary. You have to remember that, it’s all temporary.”one of my fav scenes
Alright. There seems to be a common theme happening lately about feminism, what it is and maybe a little bit of what it stems from. This is kind of on my list of what I don’t prefer to talk about with my friends (convos like sexuality and politics also being on that list) but feminism is right up there. I’m glad that the word is being ‘desensitized’ for lack of a better word. But seriously. Shouldn’t we all be fighting for equality for men and woman, and also -equally as important- gay marriage. Because who the fuhhhh cares?!?! It’s a ‘free country’ and everyone should be entitled to living their lives the way they want to without media and ultra conservative getting in the way. LIVE YOUR LIFE PEOPLE. Don’t worry about making other people unhappy or uncomfortable. That’s their problem. Love who you love, wear whatever it is you want to wear, treat people well and be yourself!
FUN FACT: These eggs are evil. Octopus babies are evil. Let me tell you why. The octopus mother lays her eggs in a cave roof and spends 6 months guarding them from potential predators and swaying the eggs with her tentacle so they get oxygen. This means she doesn’t eat or sleep until they hatch. When the octopus babies hatch, she dies from fatigue and starvation. THEN THEY FUCKING EAT HER. THEY EAT THEIR MOTHER WHO DIED BECAUSE SHE WAS LOOKING AFTER THEM. THEY. EAT. HER.
this sounds like what my mother said i did to her
